The Boho Journey
The Boho Journey began when two small-town-raised, aspiring professionals had their fates collide after relocating to St. Louis.
Jason and Tara McAllaster both grew passionate about careers in the medical field after each of their fathers were permanently disabled in traumatic accidents. Jason chose the path of becoming a Surgeon, while Tara’s choice was in medical sales and marketing.
After falling in love, hosting a fairy tale wedding at Union Station, and having their first-born son, they moved to Effingham, Illinois to establish Jason’s practice in General Surgery in 2009. They’ve built a life of their dreams centered around memories with their three precious boys and friends/family. They are super blessed to be surrounded by an amazingly supportive and entrepreneurial community.
Remarkable Results
Jason has expanded his Surgery practice into minimally invasive Vein Therapy and Medical Aesthetics.
They had a vision of growing these services through cutting-edge technology and innovative treatments that are less invasive than traditional options. Because of this passion and determination to bring excellence to Central Illinois, Boho Chic Clinique opened its doors in July 2021 at our Downtown location.
In December of 2022, Boho Chic Clinique opened the doors at our NEW location on Network Centre Drive. The new clinic offers additional treatment rooms, with more privacy for the patient. We are proud to now offer walk-in IV Therapy in our relaxing IV Lounge. We take pride in bringing the most cutting-edge and innovative aesthetic technology to Central Illinois!
