We’re super proud to introduce the Medical Director for Boho Chic Clinique. Jason McAllaster grew up in central Kansas and earned his Bachelors in Science from Bethany College. He attended Medical School at University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, and completed his Surgical Residency at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis. After graduation from Residency, Dr. McAllaster joined Marshall Clinic (now Springfield Clinic) as a General Surgeon and has been serving the Effingham area since 2009.
Dr. McAllaster is a Board-Certified Surgeon, specializing in general, laparoscopic, and endoscopic surgery. He diagnoses and treats gall bladder disease, diseases of the GI tract including cancer, hernias, vericose veins, and wound/skin conditions. He expanded his scope of practice into Medical Aesthetics in 2013 and continues to grow interest and expertise in this exploding industry. He is certified in all treatments offered at Boho, and finds purpose in offering these cutting-edge services to our community.
Jason lives in Effingham and is an incredible father to his 3 sons, Jameson, Liam, and Cameron. In his free time, he enjoys golf, traveling to golf, and watching his boys play sports. When he’s relaxing, you’ll find him with a cigar, glass of bourbon, and his Bernedoodle, Ozzy at his feet.
