Tara McAllaster

Founder , CEO

Our visionary Founder, Tara McAllaster, grew up in Charleston, Illinois and received her B.A. from Eastern Illinois University. After a 10-year career in Medical Sales within the St. Louis market, she retired to focus on their growing family. She and Jason are blessed with 3 beloved sons, who they spend most of their free time chasing from ball fields to ball courts.

Her entrepreneurial journey began in the Skincare Industry, and she’s had aspirations of opening a MedSpa in Central Illinois since their move home in 2009. Her passion in helping others feel more confident and radiant in their skin, is now blended with her passion for helping women build a life of balance & purpose. She feels honored to lock arms with the talented Boho Team, and offer a comfortable approach to cutting-edge technology, right here in our cozy community.

"The entire team at Boho Chic is dedicated to providing the best care to their patients! Their passion for what they do does not go unnoticed! They are well educated in the treatments they offer and can answer any questions you have regarding the services they offer! I couldn’t recommend this med spa enough and will continue to give them my business!!"

"Wow, Wow, Wow is all I can say! Boho Chic is AMAZING. The whole staff makes sure you feel so welcomed and comfortable. Tara & Dr. McAllaster made my day! I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend. Effingham is so lucky to have Boho Chic! Can't say enough good things about this place!!"
